Removable Wall Decal

Removable Wall Decals are printed on high-quality self-adhesive polyester fabric. They are easy to apply, removable, repositionable, and reusable. They can be applied to smooth and slightly textured walls, metal or glass, and even on curved surfaces.

If you want to apply your decal to a freshly painted wall, make sure the wall is fully dry first. Some paints may take weeks to completely dry. When using Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) paint, you can apply your decal after 14 days.

Removable wall decals typically ship within 5 business days.

Installation Instructions

1. Clean the transfer surface to remove dust and grime.
2. Starting in one of the upper corners, peel back an edge of the backing and carefully position the decal against the wall. Keep peeling off the backing, sticking the decal to the wall as you go. If you’re having trouble with alignment, use painter’s tape to keep the decal in place as you peel off the backing.
3. Use a squeegee to press the decal to the wall. This will help the decal stick and prevent the appearance of unsightly bubbles.

Photo Print

Photo prints are printed on Epson® semi-glossy photo paper. When selecting a Photo Print, you have the option to include an additional 1" border. We don't currently offer any framing options.

Acrylic Print

Acrylic Prints consist of a 1/4" reduced glare acrylic sheet with a 1/8" PVC backer. This reduces weight while simultaneously creating a sleek and modern look. The total print is 3/8" thick and has a wooden hanger with a cleat. When mounted, the Acrylic Print floats 1" off the wall.

When creating an Acrylic Print, we first print the picture onto high-resolution archival Metallic Photo paper using Epson archival inks. Next, we face-mount the picture onto clear, UV-resistant acrylic. The result is an incredibly sharp and vibrant print that will not fade for a lifetime! 

Using Metallic Photo paper gives the print a luminous and iridescent appearance. If lit from the front you will get that same stunning look you see in galleries!

Acrylic Prints typically ship within 9-12 business days.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints are printed on a 400gsm semi-gloss white poly-cotton blend fabric. The fabric is stretched over a frame, wrapped around it, and attached to the back. The total depth is 1.5". We use Epson Surecolor S80600 printers with UltraChrome® 9 color eco-solvent inks to produce true Gicleé Prints that will last a lifetime!

The sides of the canvas mirror the edges of the image. This creates a smooth appearance on all sides of the canvas wrap while still displaying the entire image on the front.

Gallery Wrapped Canvases typically ship within 8-11 business days.

1. To fit the exact medium dimensions offered, slight cropping is sometimes required. This may lead to the actual resolution decreasing to slightly below 125 dpi for a few of our largest prints. The resolution will always be at least 124 dpi.

Far and Wide Art started as a hobby. Stijn, the founder and creator of Far and Wide Art, has always had a passion to explore the natural beauty that our planet has to offer. Particularly the mountains have always called out to him. Combining his wanderlust with his love of photography, he'd venture into the wild and capture breathtaking vistas.

In the Fall of 2014, while going through a divorce, he decided to decorate a wall in his apartment bedroom with a mountainscape. Choosing a mountainscape image was a deliberate choice; mountains resonated with his soul, and it'd help him focus his energy on his passions. After all, it'd be the last thing he'd see before turning in every night and the first thing he'd see when waking up every morning. Going through his collection of photographs from his trips to the Alps, he realized he had a number of pictures that overlapped; this meant he could use these to create a panorama. And that's exactly what he did, he created his very first panorama! Today, over 8 years later, that same panorama still adorns his bedroom wall, giving him the inspiration he needs to seize another day, every morning!

Friends and family would often comment that they liked the panorama. This inspired Stijn to deliberately take pictures with overlap for the purpose of creating panoramas. He created several more panoramas in the years that followed; several of which currently decorate the walls of his home. Friends and family would often suggest he could sell prints of his work. He'd usually shrug off the idea, but when the world was hit with the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and public life shut down, he decided to finally give it a go. And thus, Far and Wide Art was born!
